Precise welding of dissimilar materials is a standard task for FOCUS electron beam welding machines. Electron beam welding is the most suitable welding process for highly reactive metals with with a very high melting point (Zr, Ti, Nb), sometimes over 3000°C (W, Ta, Rh) and high thermal conductivity. It is electron beam welding that allows the most precise control of the joining process and, consequently, of the final result.
